I'm sitting in the new Ghostlight cafe, a 2nd location for Ghostlight coffee, thinking about violins, and fiddling, creating music, and all my students. In my over 25 years of teaching I have never had a student who could not learn, young or old. Some have had a harder time learning to hear pitches, and differences in pitches, but in the end all have managed to learn. I believe process is more important than product, that the journey toward is the important part, not the destination. This means that we are given the opportunity to continue to learn, to grow.
