EXPERIENCE:

32 years experience as a music teacher, performer, and producer.

Central State University strings teacher Fall 2019 to Spring 2023

teach both a group class in strings and private lessons as well as Ethnomusicology.

Oxford Music Academy, Oxford Ohio June 2021 to Fall 2023

private violin, fiddle and composition teacher to all ages.

Bella Musica Fall 2015 to Summer 2017
Master teacher for fiddle and classical students. I taught both children and adults according to their needs. Some learned only fiddle, some classical, some both.

Levant Music Studio: Owner 1992-present
Violin and viola studio where I teach students of varying ages (3 and up) individual and group lessons in classical violin, viola, and Irish fiddle.

OTHER:

Co-founder of COCOA, Composers of Ohio Collaborative Organization for Acoustic (Music). It is an organization dedicated to giving living composers a non competitive platform to have their work performed and recorded. 2014 to the present.

Suzuki (violin) training books 1 through 4 in Columbus Ohio at 5 separate summer Suzuki institutes. Various trainers. 1994-1998.

Montessori teacher training CMTE summer training 1991. Interned 3 years. Never got fully certified.
